“Your skilled thinking partner”
“We believe in the idea of becoming eternal students — adults empowered to design their own future — with a life-long curriculum of living, learning and thriving.“
‘Wie wäre es, gebildet zu sein?‘ by Peter Bieri, Swiss philosopher. “Education is something that people do with themselves and for themselves: they educate themselves. Others can train us, yet only we can educate ourselves.“
“Bildung ist etwas, das Menschen mit sich und für sich machen: Man bildet sich. Ausbilden können uns andere, bilden kann sich jeder nur selbst.”

WE
WHO WE ARE

Thought & Action started as a space for creative exploration, impact and meaningful change making; a “home“ and a place for contribution and connection. As an Experienced Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance Continued Education Provider (YACEP) Jenny specialises in the science of the mind. She speaks about how brand building, yoga and coaching are all built around one thing...“truth seeking“ and authenticity.
Our Director Jenny is professionally trained to act as a facilitator of change making and has been part of shaping some of the world’s most desirable brands.
Born in Sweden yet with experience of living and working across various cultures and continents; from luxury in NYC, Europe, and Asia, to promoting learning and alternative education in East Africa; she holds a passion for lifelong learning and exploration.
She broke the rules of success and left an international career in business development and creative direction for a heartfelt mission of fuelling deep insight, motivation, connection, and wellbeing in human beings and across companies.

As a company we will be there for those who need someone who will embrace their personality, cultural difference, complexity, challenges, and experiences like they were their own. Clients today include thought leaders, change makers, entrepreneurs, creative creatures and aspiring business — human beings simply.

A PERSONAL STORY

TO MAKE BOLD
LIFE CHANGES
TAKES BRAVERY AND WILLPOWER

“I left the Western World in pursuit of freedom, curiosity and personal growth — I was drawn to purity, roots, joy, and human connection — a place to call home.“

Sometimes we need to strip life
back to utmost simplicity to realise
the impact of our systems.

The more risk we take, the more opportunities will present themselves. We might “fail“ at some things and succeed in others – but if we don‘t even try we will never get anywhere. What matters is how we deal with challenges, change, and how we choose to participate today and tomorrow.
When we are faced with contrast in culture, beliefs, and societal systems the hardest part in my experience is to control ones mind; this is real yoga.*
Friends have asked me about the greatest insight from living and working in East Africa during the peak of the pandemic. It was an interesting time of extreme contrast and exponential change due to the lack of Covid-19. Change always fuels friction and unease to start with; but whatever system we choose to surround ourselves with, we need to regain freedom, trust and creativity from within.
* “Yogas citta vritti nirodhah” (Patanjali‘s Yoga Sutra 1.2) refers to stilling the mind in order to experience Ultimate Reality and move toward Self-realization.

Who am I? I am tirelessly intrigued to explore, inspire, challenge, to level up, and to expand how we live, work, and create — just like most of our clients — I ultimately wish to do better and to make the world a greater place. Don‘t we all?
We look at coaching and the science of human minds (yogic teachings) as an embodied practice which promotes authenticity and self-study. To really understand the power of this practice we need to explore the world with curiosity and from a place of critical thinking.

Thought & Action is an expansive destination in alignment with all that excites me — it’s like a dynamic sketch of “home”.
The below stories are me sharing parts of my spiritual journey, reflections and insights. By opening up I invite you to go seek out your own ”truth”. Perhaps it will be through coaching with us at Thought & Action.

“May I have the courage
today to live the life that I would love,
to postpone my dream no longer.
But do at last what I came
here for, and waste my heart
on fear no more.“
John O‘Donohue
At home? Coaching is a bit like traveling, once we go places we will never be the same again

How others might describe you is never the full story or the true you, quite frankly, they probably don’t have a clue!
As covid-19 was about to hit Europe, my bags were already packed. With a one-way-ticket into the unknown I left the western world to explore the African heat of growth. Thought & Action is a new destination in alignment with everything I enjoy — it is a creative space for me to connect, shift and evolve in community with others; a dynamic sketch of “home”.

Stockholm is a fascinating city, yet what outsiders don’t understand is that the clash between individualism and conformity is a recipe for anxiety, so it’s not for nothing that the BBC has run a feature on the secrets to why “Burnout is rising in the land of work-life balance”.
When I first signed up to coaching I’d just moved back to Stockholm. On paper this relocation might have looked like an interesting career move, to me it felt like a recipe for social misery. I’d left my native land for reasons of curiosity — now I’d found myself back in a city ruled by what in the 80’s was referred to as cultural Marxism! While driven by a passion for learning and creativity my whole career had evolved around change making, so if this really wasn’t for me, why was I afraid to change it?
ON ACCOUNTABILITY
From passion to purpose.
We don’t have to give up what we love to get what we want

Bold decisions such as leaving a career, relationship or a country can be daunting. Even if these may be choices of our own it still takes courage to walk into the unknown.
I always thought that I had to “know“ what I was looking for; but what I needed was to recognise where my qualities and passion were truly purposeful.
Yoga has taught me how to surrender and how to serve (selflessly), how to let go of the past, and how to listen to my heart.
As an experienced yoga teacher, coach and mentor it is my passion to grow the people around me. Community classes provided a teaching space fuelled by inquiry, play, gratitude and a genuine curiosity.
